Once a month (on a Tuesday night) we focus our attention and energies on reaching out to those around us. We call this time Inside Out.
We gather together inside for dinnerand just hanging out together (5:15 - 6:00). Then we reach out through phone calls, letter writing, making visits, etc. (6:00).
Come join us this month as we seek to reach Tuscaloosa with God's love. Childcare is provided. There is also a quick Orientation for first-timers at 5:45.
In addition to annual local outreach efforts (such as Reach Out Tuscaloosa, Vacation Bible School, Easter Drama and Musical) Valley View seeks to reach the community around them through any possible means.

We believe our mission to extend the Good News of Jesus does not just include local efforts, but a global effort. Therefore, on an annual basis we put people and financial resources into world missions. Our desire is that all of the poeple at Valley View will participate in taking the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the globe.
Here is how we seek to do this ...
1) We host a Global Impact Celebration weekend every Spring. During this time we host missionaries from all over the world who both inspire and challenge us. As a result of this weekend, we as a church make a financial commitment to world missions. Throughout the year we try and make good on this financial commitment. This Global Impact offering provides support for missions agencies such as the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board. This offering also supports local mission projects, individual missionaries and mission agencies, and short-term mission teams from Valley View.
2) We schedule various mission trips on an annual basis. On any given year, the people of Valley View will have a chance to put their feet on foreign soil and minister in the name of Jesus. For information on mission trip opportunites, call Gay in the church office.
